The operator's contract was ended
Coljuegos is the state company that administers Colombia's gambling monopoly. BITIA S.A.S. ran the online gambling site bingocasinos.co under a concession contract with it.[1]
Coljuegos declared that contract forfeited because of serious breaches of BITIA's financial obligations. It did so by Resolution 20260007594 of 24 April 2026. The decision became final on 7 July 2026, after Coljuegos ruled on the operator's request to reconsider it.[1]
As a result, the contract was ended and BITIA had to stop offering games of chance at once. The company is also barred from contracting with the state for five years.[1]
How players can ask for a review
On 16 October Coljuegos said that users of bingocasinos.co with balances still in their accounts, or prizes they have not received, can ask it to review their case. To start, they email [email protected] and attach:[1]
- a copy of their identity document;
- a bank certificate issued no more than 30 days earlier.
With that, Coljuegos says, it can carry out the review under the procedures that apply. The release gives no timetable and does not promise that balances will be paid.[1]
A warning about fraud
Coljuegos adds that none of its staff will contact players to ask for money, passwords, verification codes or bank details for this process. It advises players not to share personal or financial information with anyone who offers to speed things up or promises a refund, and to use only its official channels.[1]
Coljuegos says its checks on operators also protect money meant for Colombians' health care.[1] What it collects from gambling goes to the state's subsidised health insurance: 977,220 million pesos in the first eight months of 2026.
