Embeds & data

Put our regulation data on your site

Free to embed on any website: a world map of online casino regulation, or one country’s status for every product, kept current by our editors. We are also considering a data API. If you would use one, tell us what you need.

  • If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy, allow https://regimemap.com in its script-src and connect-src.

Who uses it

Law firms

A country card on a practice page, or the map in a client briefing.

Journalists and legal bloggers

Context for a story about a new law, without drawing a map.

Compliance teams

A shared view on an intranet or wiki.

A data API?

We are considering a data API with dated, sourced records by country: new laws and regulations, enforcement such as fines and blocking orders, and regulatory news, with counts over time. Nothing is decided yet: there is no launch date and no price. If you would use it, write to us. Your answers help us decide whether to build it.

For universities, we can share our data free of charge for research and teaching: see Universities.

Embed terms

Free to embed. Any website may show the Regime Map embeds (the world map and the country cards), commercial or not.

Keep the credit. Keep the credit line under the embed (“Map: Regime Map” or “Source: Regime Map”) and its link visible. You may add rel="nofollow" to that link.

Display only. Don’t copy, scrape, store, republish or resell the data behind the embeds, and don’t change what they show. To use the data in your own products, write to [email protected].

No endorsement. Don’t present the embeds as our endorsement of any operator, offer or website.

Not legal advice. The embeds show our editorial reading of official sources on the date shown. Rules have exceptions; the linked dossier explains them, and a lawyer in that country is the authority.

We may change, retire or switch off the embeds, on any site and at any time. A retired embed shows a link to regimemap.com.

No warranty. The embeds are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made with them.

Privacy

The embeds set no cookies, store nothing in your readers’ browsers and load nothing from any other website. They load from regimemap.com through Cloudflare. We don’t log or keep your readers’ IP addresses; Cloudflare processes them to deliver the page, as with any website. We record the address of the page that shows an embed, without query strings, to run the service and stop misuse. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Interested in a data API?

Write to us and tell us who you are and what your organisation does, what you would use the data for, which countries matter, and how fresh it must be. We read every message, but we can’t promise an API.

Universities

We can share our data with universities for research and teaching, free of charge. Write to [email protected] from your university email address and tell us about your project. We’ll confirm who you are first.
